Seth Patterson is an avid naturalist and self-taught photographer who first discovered photography as a means to share his passion for nature with the world. Now a life-long pursuit, he focuses on using his photography as a tool to help educate and inspire conservation.
A native Texan, Seth is a freelance photographer. His most recent publication, “El Valle – The Rio Grande Delta,” is a 284 page coffee-table book which was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2011 Independent Publisher’s Publisher of the Year (IPPY) contest. His images are also regularly featured in Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine, Texas Shores Magazine, Texas Highways, and many other publications and productions.
An avid scuba diver, much of Seth's recent endeavors have been underwater. His creative eye helps him capture stunning pictures from a realm few ever visit. Seth is also a participating photographer for the international Meet Your Neighbours Project.
